HeartMind Boxing focuses on the healing aspect of the martial arts systems to promote longevity, well-being, and vibrant health.
With over 35 years of experience, Jay is a movement specialist and martial arts expert. He is known for his fun and innovative ways to educate and motivate people to get moving. He utilizes exercises and movements through the QiGong and Martial Arts Forms that target the fascial/connective tissues of the body. In conjunction with the focused breathing, these exercises will help restore postural balance, stretch and strengthen the body and lengthen and soften this system.
Most recently he has developed a system called HeartMind Boxing that brings awareness to areas where there is inhibited movement and utilizes form work to stabilize, strengthen and mobilize these areas and integrate them into the system.

Beginners are very welcome!
You don't need to have any prior experience to benefit and enjoy this system.
Dress comfortably (in your normal workout wear) and indoor shoes (if you have a pair).

Jay also offers customized lessons.
These lessons are done in a video format. If you are available to meet virtually "in-person", Jay will schedule a Zoom call with you that can be recorded. If you are not able to schedule a meeting with him, he will personalize and send you a private video lesson link.
